Rapine Murray
Rapine Murray (Ngati Kuri, Ngati Haua ki Te Rarawa) was born and educated in Auckland but has been home for the past 30 years. Rapine comes from a hardworking background and over the years he has been involved in a number of trades including oyster farming and hospitality as well as contributing to the community through youth projects. He is a hard working self made entrepreneur and Rapine acknowledges that making his wealth has been to the detriment of his health. Participating within the brofiles has increased his awareness of the number of tane Maori who have passed away from Cardiovascular Disease and he is ready to take responsibility for his own health and also to challenge others to do the same through his role as a Brofile.
