Catherine outlines the work the NZ Guideline Group and the ways
PHO's and DHB's can apply the guidelines in everyday settings.
Catherine joined the Guidelines Group in September 2000 after 2 years
as a private sector consultant. Before her consultancy work she was a
policy manager in the Ministry of Health. She has had over 14 years
policy experience in health and has been involved in a broad range of

waiting times.
Catherine was appointed to the position of Vice-Chair of the Guidelines
International Network (www.g-i-n.net ) from 2002 - 2004. In
2004, she convened the G-I-N conference in Wellington NZ, and was
